چکیده
Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) are widely used in the food and fertilizer industries. During our previous study, bean fertilized by two doses (20 40 ppm) of ZnO-NPs with a particle size 20 nm was investigated on rats. Therefore, this experiment designed to evaluate effect that were administrated orally rats once day at ppm. Hematological biochemical parameters quantified addition investigation deleterious liver kidney histopathological. In-vitro cytotoxicity Vero cell line also studied. Eighteen male Wistar divided into three groups. Normal control (G1) administered deionized water (1ml/rat). Groups G2 G3 received 1ml/rat suspensions ppm ZnO-NPs, respectively. Hematology showed mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) lower G3. White blood count decreased G2. had an elevated hematocrit. In G3, plasma glucose while uric acid alkaline phosphatase activity increased. Plasma creatinine, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine creatine kinase all albumin levels decreased. Treatment for 72 h resulted no toxicity cells when compared normal ZnO. Biochemical data confirmed histopathology. conclusion, both minimal effects hematological parameters. While should be applied carefully due their negative functions.

Evaluation of 2-week repeated oral dose toxicity of 100 nm zinc oxide nanoparticles in rats
The aim of this study was to verify subacute oral dose toxicity of positively charged 100 nm zinc oxide (ZnO(AE100[+])) nanoparticles (NPs) in Sprague-Dawley rats. ZnO(AE100[+]) NPs were administered to rats of each sex by gavage at 0, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 mg/kg/day for 14 days. During the study period, clinical signs, mortality, body weight, food consumption, hematology, serum biochemistry, g...
متن کاملSub-Acute Oral Toxicity of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles in Male Rats
ZnO-NPs suspended in distilled water were administered to Wistar rats at dose of 10 mg/ kg body weight through oral gavage for 5 consecutive days. The mean body weight gain in rats given ZnO-NPs was similar to this of control group, so no significant differences in the relative organs weight were observed between the ZnO-NPs treated-rats and control. Moreover, ZnO-NPs-exposed rats showed normal...

This study investigated the potential adverse effects of zinc oxide nanoparticles ([ZnO(SM20(+)) NPs] zinc oxide nanoparticles, positively charged, 20 nm) on pregnant dams and embryo-fetal development after maternal exposure over the period of gestational days 5-19 with Sprague-Dawley rats. ZnO(SM20(+)) NPs were administered to pregnant rats by gavage at 0, 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg/day. All dams...
متن کاملAcute toxicity investigation regarding clinical and pathological aspects following repeated oral administration of iron oxide nanoparticles in rats
Iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPS) have potential different applications in nanomedicine. These new applications of IONPS have raised exposure risk of this nanomaterials to humans. Up to now, all aspects of IONPS toxicity are not fully clear following animal’s exposure with these novel compounds. This study aimed to investigate the acute toxicity effects of IONPS in laboratory animals regarding p...
